Patrick M. O'Neal, RAA
Patrick moved to the High Country with his family in 2006. He graduated from Appalachian State University in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Banking and a minor in Mathematics. While in college, he started his appraisal coursework. Patrick M is the son of Patrick K O'Neal who has been a certified general appraiser for well over 30 years. Patrick then became a registered trainee appraiser under W Mark Wolfe (owner of High Country Appraisals). Mark trained Patrick until 2018, when he passed the Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser state exam (1st try!). Shortly after, Patrick received his appraiser certification in Tennessee. From that point, Patrick's career took off. Patrick went on to receive multiple certifications, designations, and great experiences. Effective January 2025, Mark Wolfe sold Patrick High Country Appraisals. Patrick qualified as an Appraisal Expert by The United States Chief Bankruptcy Judge, Honorable Laura T. Beyer, in United States Bankruptcy Court of the Western District of NC, Charles R Jonas Federal Courthouse, in Charlotte, NC in 2025.
When Patrick is not appraising real estate, he has an obsession with the outdoors. Patrick enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking, skiing, boating, golfing, and volunteering with the local fire department as a Firefighter/EMT.
